2D Active Contour Mode
In active contour ROI mode, we would add a button under each slice view to allow that slice to be segmented in 2D. This will automatically 'blow up' that slice view. The ROI passed into active contour mode would be that slice, i.e., 1 voxel thick.
The underlying algorithm would have to be templated over the number of dimensions, and we would select 2D or 3D depending on whether the input ROI is 1 voxel thick or not. Resampling (optional when entering active contour mode) would also need to take into account 2D/3D mode. The rest of the GUI should not have to change. So overall, this will be an easy change. Several people have asked for this.
